We identified that the tanstack-vue-table-example-row-selection:test:types failure is pre-existing and unrelated to our changes — the same TypeScript TS6133 errors (globalFilterInput and readGlobalFilter declared but never used) appear identically in the beta branch. Our PR only modifies files under packages/table-core/ and does not touch the failing tests/e2e/smoke.spec.ts file in the Vue example.
Self-Healing CI
An empty commit was applied to the branch to trigger a new CI pipeline execution to resolve the environment issue.
The failing task tanstack-vue-table-example-row-selection:test:types reports TypeScript TS6133 errors ("declared but never used") for globalFilterInput and readGlobalFilter in tests/e2e/smoke.spec.ts of the Vue row-selection example.
The PR's diff only modifies files under packages/table-core/ — refactoring internal helper functions to module level. No changes were made to the Vue example's test files or any e2e smoke test.
Most critically, the identical failure (same file, same line numbers, same TS6133 errors) was confirmed to exist in the beta branch, independently of this PR. This makes it clear the failure is pre-existing and not introduced by these changes.
With a flakiness rate of 0% and no causal link to the PR diff, this is classified as environment_state — a pre-existing issue in the repository that needs to be resolved separately.
