We fixed a TypeScript compilation error in the new setStateSlice.test.ts by correcting the updater parameter type in setStateSlice. When the key argument is not a known TableState key, the previous type Updater<TableState<any>[K & keyof TableState<any>]> collapsed to (old: never) => never (via never indexing), rejecting the string 'value' used in the edge-case test. Replacing it with a conditional type — Updater<TableState<any>[K]> for known keys, Updater<unknown> otherwise — restores correct typing at all 14 production call sites while properly accepting any value for unknown keys.
