We don't believe this is caused by the PR: the diff only touches unit test files in @tanstack/router-generator, @tanstack/router-plugin, and @tanstack/start-plugin-core (compiler correctness coverage), while the failures are Playwright timeouts in two unrelated e2e sandbox apps. We're treating these as pre-existing test-infrastructure timing issues and are not proposing a fix here.
Self-Healing CI
An empty commit was applied to the branch to trigger a new CI pipeline execution to resolve the environment issue.
This was not classified as a code change for the following reasons:
The PR diff only modifies test files (unit tests and fixtures) under packages/router-generator, packages/router-plugin, and packages/start-plugin-core. It ports compiler-independent correctness coverage โ no compiler, runtime, or e2e application code was touched. The touched_projects list confirms only these three packages were affected.
The two failing tasks belong to entirely separate projects that are not in touched_projects:
- tanstack-router-e2e-react-scroll-restoration-sandbox-vite:test:e2e
- tanstack-solid-start-e2e-serialization-adapters:test:e2e
Both failures are generic Playwright timeouts (30s) unrelated to anything in the diff:
- The first fails at page.waitForLoadState('networkidle') in a pre-existing repro spec (issue-7040.repro.spec.ts), with a measured flakiness rate of 0%. Per the classification rules, a task outside touched_projects with 0% flakiness cannot be flaky_task โ it points to a deterministic, pre-existing environment/test-infrastructure timing issue rather than something introduced by this PR.
- The second fails waiting for a getByTestId element to render during an SSR streaming test, with a low (6.9%) flakiness rate. This spec and the SSR code it exercises are also untouched by the PR.
Neither failure's error output references any identifier, import, or function from the PR diff. The similar-task-failure-detector subagent found no matching failure on another branch to directly confirm pre-existing status, but the complete lack of correlation between the diff (test-only changes in three unrelated compiler-tooling packages) and the failure signatures (generic network/render timeouts in separate e2e sandbox apps) rules out code_change. Combined with the deterministic (non-flaky) result for the first task, the failures point to environment_state โ pre-existing test-infrastructure/timing issues in unrelated e2e projects โ rather than a consequence of this PR's changes.
