We classified this failure as flaky rather than a code change. Our PR only bumps SWC devDependency versions, and the failing WebAuthn e2e test timed out on a 5s toBeVisible check with nothing in the error pointing to those bumps. The task has a non-zero flake rate, so a rerun is the right next step.
Self-Healing CI
An empty commit was automatically applied to the branch to trigger a new CI pipeline execution to resolve the flaky task.
Why this was not classified as a code change:
The only failing task is the Playwright e2e
webauthn-device.test.ts. One of its 2 tests passed and the other failed. The failure was a 5000ms
expect(...).toBeVisible()timeout waiting for the 'Logout' button after the WebAuthn authenticate step. That is a timing-dependent UI assertion, not a compile, import or type error. The PR changes only package.json, bumping @swc/core, @swc/helpers and @swc-node/register. The error references no code from that change, and the app built and served normally.
The task has a non-zero flake rate (about 0.7%). The project is covered by the wildcard in touched_projects, but nothing in the failure output ties it to the dependency bump.
No deterministic regression is evident, so there is no fix to propose. A rerun is the appropriate response.
Similar-failure detection was not run, because no other branch was supplied. The classification is inferred rather than confirmed by a rerun.
