We looked at the failing WebAuthn e2e test and found it isn't caused by our lefthook bump. The Logout button didn't appear within the 5s timeout, which is a timing issue in the browser flow. The task has a small non-zero flakiness rate, so we suggest rerunning it.
Self-Healing CI
An empty commit was automatically applied to the branch to trigger a new CI pipeline execution to resolve the flaky task.
Why this was not classified as a code change:
The PR only bumps the dev dependency @evilmartians/lefthook from 2.1.6 to 2.1.17. Lefthook manages git hooks. It isn't part of the runtime code or the e2e test path, and the PR diff lists no changed source files.
The failure is a Playwright assertion timeout. In src/webauthn-device.test.ts, at line 100,
expect(getByRole('button', {name: 'Logout'})).toBeVisible()timed out after 5000ms. The error has no connection to lefthook, imports, or any changed function. The other test in the same run passed. The failure was also confined to the authenticate step, after registration with the virtual WebAuthn authenticator had succeeded. This points to a timing issue in the browser flow rather than a deterministic break.
The task's flakiness rate is about 0.9%, which is above 0%. That means this task has failed intermittently on the same code before.
The touched_projects list contains '*', which normally pushes toward code_change. Here the change has no logical path to the failure, so that signal doesn't hold.
Not done: the similar-task-failure check against other branches wasn't run. No code changes are proposed. A rerun is the appropriate action.
