We looked at the failing WebAuthn e2e test and found nothing in it that the lefthook bump could have caused. The 'Logout' button didn't appear within the 5s timeout after authentication, which looks like an intermittent UI timing issue. We're treating it as flaky and recommend a rerun.
Self-Healing CI
This failure was classified as a flaky task. No code changes are applicable.
This was not classified as a code_change, for these reasons:
The PR only bumps the @evilmartians/lefthook dev dependency (2.1.6 to 2.1.17). Lefthook manages git hooks and plays no part in the journey app or in the Playwright e2e run.
The error doesn't reference any changed code. The registration step passed. The authentication step then failed because getByRole('button', { name: 'Logout' }) was not visible within the 5000ms timeout (webauthn-device.test.ts:100). That is a UI timing failure in a browser test that uses a virtual authenticator.
The PR diff lists no files that touch the journey app or the test. The '*' in touched_projects comes from the lockfile change, not from a change to this area.
The task's flakiness rate is above 0% (about 0.9%), so it is known to fail intermittently with the same code.
Rerunning immediately is the sensible response. Waiting would not help, and no code change would address the failure.
Similar-failure detection on other branches was not run, because no similar_task_failures branch was provided.
