We looked at the failing webauthn-device e2e test and don't think our @types/node bump caused it. The package only provides type declarations, and the test failed on a 5s timeout waiting for the Logout button after authentication. This task has a non-zero flakiness rate, so we recommend rerunning it.
Self-Healing CI
An empty commit was automatically applied to the branch to trigger a new CI pipeline execution to resolve the flaky task.
The PR does not look like the cause of this failure, for these reasons:
The only file changed is package.json, which bumps @types/node from 24.9.2 to 24.19.1. This package contains type declarations only and has no effect on runtime behavior.
The failing task is the Playwright test webauthn-device.test.ts. It timed out after 5s on expect(getByRole('button', { name: 'Logout' })).toBeVisible() after the WebAuthn authenticate step.
The registration step in the same run passed. The output shows no compile error, no type error, and no reference to any changed code, imports or functions.
The task has a non-zero flakiness rate of about 1.1%. A browser-driven WebAuthn round trip with a short assertion timeout is prone to timing issues.
No similar-failure branch was supplied, so the similar-failure check was not run.
Because the change is type-only and the failure is a timing-sensitive UI assertion, the failure is classified as flaky_task. No code changes are proposed, and a rerun should be enough.
