We looked at the failing WebAuthn e2e test (Logout button not visible at webauthn-device.test.ts:100) and found the identical failure on branch 862, so our dependency bump did not cause it. This PR only updates OpenTelemetry package versions, so we're proposing no changes here. The existing break should be fixed in its own PR.
fix(deps): update opentelemetry-js monorepo
852fc375fcOpen on GitHubSelf-Healing CI
An empty commit was automatically applied to the branch to trigger a new CI pipeline execution to resolve the flaky task.
This failure was not classified as a code_change for the following reasons.
The PR only updates the @opentelemetry/sdk-* packages (sdk-logs, sdk-metrics, sdk-trace-base, sdk-trace-node, sdk-trace-web). touched_projects contains '*' because the lockfile changed, not because application code changed.
The failing task is
@forgerock/journey-suites:e2e-ci--src/webauthn-device.test.ts. One of its two tests passed. The other failed at line 100, wheregetByRole('button', { name: 'Logout' })was not visible within 5000ms after the authenticate step. The output has no import, module-resolution or OpenTelemetry-related error. Nothing in it can be tied to specific changed lines in the diff.
The similar-task-failure-detector subagent found the identical failure on branch 862. The test, locator, line and timeout all match, and only the run time differs (44.2s against 47.3s). Under the decision process, an error that also appears on another branch is environment_state, because this PR did not cause it. A pre-existing break belongs in its own PR, so no changes are proposed here.
Output for the failing task was present, so the missing-output bail-out does not apply.
An earlier submission classified this as flaky_task before the branch comparison had returned. It is corrected here. The task's flakiness rate is only about 1.4%, which fits a persistent failure better than an intermittent one.
