We looked at the failing webauthn-device e2e test and found the same 'Logout' button assertion failure on branch 852, so our changes didn't cause it. Our PR only adds Mend scan CI workflow files, which don't touch the journey e2e suite, so we aren't proposing a fix here.
ci: add Mend scan workflow for releases
86227889dcOpen on GitHubSelf-Healing CI
An empty commit was applied to the branch to trigger a new CI pipeline execution to resolve the environment issue.
This failure was classified as environment_state, not code_change, for the following reasons:
The failing task is @forgerock/journey-suites:e2e-ci--src/webauthn-device.test.ts. After the authenticate step is submitted, the 'Logout' button never becomes visible within 5s (line 100).
The same error appears on branch 852. The output there shows the identical assertion failure at the same line with the same locator. Since the failure exists on another branch, this PR did not cause it, and a fix belongs in its own PR.
The PR changes only three Mend scan CI files: .github/actions/mend-sast/action.yml, .github/actions/mend-setup/action.yml and .github/workflows/mend-release-scan.yml. None of these relate to the journey e2e test or the app under test.
The recorded flakiness rate is about 1.4%, which is low and consistent with a pre-existing issue rather than something this PR introduced.
No changes are proposed.
