fix(ai-gemini): run built-in tools beside function tools on Gemini 3 (#1897) * fix(ai-gemini): run built-in tools beside function tools on Gemini 3 Set toolConfig.includeServerSideToolInvocations on the Gemini API when a request mixes built-in tools with function declarations, and send the step's signed toolCall, toolResponse, executableCode and codeExecutionResult parts back in place on the next request. * fix(ai-gemini): keep built-in tool parts after text and send VALIDATED for auto Record whether text came before each built-in tool part since the last function call, and send the part back after that text, so a step ordered text, toolCall, toolResponse, functionCall replays in the same order. With includeServerSideToolInvocations, Gemini does not support AUTO mode, so toolChoice 'auto' maps to VALIDATED on those requests. Function-only requests keep AUTO, and a functionCallingConfig in modelOptions still wins. * fix(ai-gemini): throw when Vertex cannot send built-in tool parts A Vertex follow-up that must send toolCall or toolResponse parts now throws. executableCode and codeExecutionResult parts still go back. --------- Co-authored-by: Tom Beckenham <34339192+tombeckenham@users.noreply.github.com>
